The Game has Entered Beta
I'm so damn happy to announce that I finished the content of the game. Also, on beta 1.1 that I'm not releasing either, I got the different resolutions to work. It's gonna be on the Steam Deck resolution by default (1280x800) but you can go into the options now to switch it to the average monitor (1920x1080). The game is completely beatable now. All three characters are in the game now but not yet in the overworld. I'm gonna implement that later. Hopefully before release. The turn system is perfect, the game runs at a perfect 60 fps. I added a simple feature to the game design that turns the game into a real-time-turn-based hybrid in it's battle system. A timer. If you don't make your move in a certain amount of time, you lose your turn and the enemy hits you. There's also a timer in the entire game. 10 minutes. If you don't beat it in that time, you're done and the game crashes. That's subject to change, actually. Maybe I'm gonna make it higher by release. But, all in all, I'm almost done. It's been 7 long years.
